Byadagi Chilli Powder

The highest-colour Indian chilli variety. Deep mahogany-red, very mild heat. Preferred by food manufacturers for natural colouring, oleoresin extraction, and masala blends where colour is the primary requirement.

Kashmiri Chilli Powder
Kashmir Valley, Jammu & Kashmir
Grown at high altitude where cool temperatures allow colour pigments to develop fully. Vibrant red with near-zero pungency. The defining ingredient in tandoori and Rogan Josh, and a clean-label alternative to synthetic red colourants.

Guntur Sannam S4 Chilli Powder

India's most widely exported chilli variety. Balanced heat and colour with consistent capsaicin content — the standard choice for curry powders, sauces, and spice blends requiring reliable, moderate pungency.

Guntur Teja S17 Chilli Powder
Andhra Pradesh & Telangana
The highest-pungency variety in the Indian export trade. Extremely hot with sharp, intense heat. Primary feedstock for hot sauce manufacturing and capsaicin oleoresin extraction. Often blended with Byadagi or Kashmiri for custom SHU + ASTA targets.
